Howlin', growlin' n' rockin’ Vinex plays inescapable smashers and fragile treasures. Beautiful songs, quick fingers and rickety sounds guaranteed!
In smaller settings Vinex also uses homemade instruments like the pump-organ. (if we feel like it)

Doing applied music jobs is very enjoyable to me because all the skills are serving a whole different purpose, and every task asks for a different flavour, approach and arsenal of instruments. Atmospheric, organic, or deliberatily plastic or crooked. Humble, engaging, melodic or abstract, everything is possible. Because I do everything myself, from the composing, playing the instruments, recording up to the mixing if necessary, you'll only need one guy. And that undeniable DIY charm, you'll get for free. Sometimes you feel the pressure of a song yet to be made building up and taking over. Everything else is put aside, the door is locked and the curtains closed. First the raw eruption, followed by meticulous incubation, conversion, rearranging and polishing, till all the pieces fall into place. When the door opens again, a song is born.
In any case, I make songs.
Call me a song-builder. All the playing of instruments, writing of lyrics, singing and construction work happens in the home-studio. The results sometimes are humbly reckless, and sometimes festively brittle.
